Deathly Hush..... thinking quickly, how about The Prince Of wales in Bedford Street, or, bit further I know, but very good roast and relaxed atmosphere, The French Horn in Steppingly.

The Black Horse in Ireland is good for Sunday Lunch, lovely food and only about 20 minutes from Ampthill
