Indoor Hockey Ampthill

Postby cjmnelson » Sat Dec 15, 2012 10:02 pm

Most Saturday evenings at 5pm throughout the year there is a friendly one hour game of indoor hockey (unihoc) at the sports hall behind Parkside Hall. Its a bit like ice hockey but without the ice and the violence. Adults pay about £5 per week, teenagers less. Anyone is welcome to come along one week to try it (first week free) and thereafter simply pay as you play. Due to some long term players leaving the area we are keen for new players. For more information please contact Colin Nelson 07917680709. Open to both boys and girls (currently its just boys).

WHY ONLY MEN?? Surely this sport is Unisex? I know from experience,( though I don't play anymore), that the Ladies can be just as aggressive at this Sport as any man. But I am limited to Outdoor, rather than Indoor Hockey. :AA

The group is currently only men but we would welcome any women / girls. First timers can come for a free trial one week.
