footpath work

Postby CraftsbyCarolyn » Sat Aug 03, 2013 12:16 pm

I see that there is work to start on the footpath at the back of the new houses being built near swaffield close, ready for the new allotments. The path will be closed, Monday week. Not sure how long, read the notice today.

I noticed that when I went down to Redborne today. But why? Wider pavement = narrower road. Cycle track?

Probably the extra width is needed to cope with the hoards of additional children that the people of Ampthill have produced. They have just extended the school after all.
