Ampthill park dogs

Postby sioux » Fri Feb 06, 2015 11:55 pm

I heard last week that in the large car park some early morning walkers found some large pieces of meat left around, the same thing happened again two weeks later. Ampthill warden was told. Know one knows if it is poisoned meat. So if walking with dogs be aware. Does anyone know about this ?

That's appalling. I hope the Park Wardens are being vigilant.

Aren't we in danger of getting a little hysterical here, scaremongering and whipping up a drama about nothing? Sioux says only that large pieces of meat have been found, although she doesn't say whether she found them or only heard at third, fourth or even fifth hand ("a friend of a friend knew somebody who was told that ... etc, etc") about about them being found. And she admits that "Know (sic) one knows if it is poisoned meat".

So no evidence, no suggestion, not even any reason to suspect the meat may have been poisoned. Yet the immediate kneejerk response from Oceanbreeze is that this is "appalling"?

Next thing, somebody on here – probably that dreadlocked Jamaican chap Sizzling again – will be exaggerating it into a sensational scaremongering story for the Bedfordshire on Sunday about hundreds of dogs being poisoned to death in Ampthill Park. I despair! ug

You do realise that the comments (all two of them) were made eight months ago? Hardly hysterical.

It was the Warden that found the meat, no need to leave large pieces of meat around unless is was poisoned.
