THANK you for bringing the plight of Ampthill Park to a wider population. We, the locals, were not consulted and in essence the park belongs to us.

Dozens of trees have been felled, along with blackberry bushes, gorse and elderberry.

No wildlife habitat remains.

Deer, rabbits, stoats, and weasels now have no homes and birds have lost their nesting facilities.

Whatever they plant now will take 150-200 years to mature and in the meantime the park remains a barren wasteland.

I don't get BoS - I think they have trouble getting enough people to deliver. However, I think Ms Herne is a bit late with her letter - she is only saying
what we have all said over the last few months since this all began!!! Nevertheless it does keep it in the "public eye".
