Other places to sell

following on from giving stuff away I thought this might be useful:

On the gadget show the other day they had a guide to selling your old stuff and mentioned these:

Ebay - obviously - although she said on the program to make sure your auction finishes on Thursday Lunchtime or Sunday afternoon!

other sites mentioned

and also there are loads out there to sell your old phone to was the one she used

Or places to take your items to sell - these sell for you on-line and take 20% commission - but apparently they performed better when put head to head with the show selling on Ebay

cash converters

also there was this link mentioned on the radio on saving money:

Saturday afternoon finishing I understand, but Thursday lunchtime? What's so special about that? Unless it's to do with dispatching it for delivery on Saturday?

You can also try or fridayads. Both free to place your ad. Then there's the good ol' methods - like sticking a card in the Post Office window.....
