Good! Hopefully they will get out for that Trout and Almonds or Dover Sole they talked about last week, before Alex had the screaming fit and kicked his stuff all over the pavement

Although hope Shazza is ok...

Soundtrack is out - it's available now on iTunes.

Some good one liners in the final episode,

plus it completed the car bomb thread.

Have to wait for next year for the new series!

Yay to new series!! :lu

Boo to having to wait until next year :me

That was a great conclusion to the series.... And the Gene Genie was the man who ran to her rescue... :tup2

Shazza got out of hospital a bit quick... one minute spark out, next knocking it back in Luigi's...

NHS obviously cannot work miracles these days :P

On the whole disappointing. The first episode and the episode in the gay club were my preferred episodes for giggles.

If the next series is going to be as drab as this they should do us a favour and kill it off now

happy days

Me too - Especially as I joined the police force in 1981 - it is more realistic than I like to remember - scary as to how it was especially if you were a girl like me! Political correctness definately didn't exist!

I am happy to accept it is politically incorrect but it lacked the direct humour of the first series (which if you care to remember was also politically incorrect)

When you look at series like "One foot in the Grave" "last of the Summer Wine". They all start out very funny. Writers think theya re onto a winner and kill it by keeping it going to long. Those to series are no longer funny.

Fawlty Towers - Classic humour - there was a line drawn under it.
Father Ted - classic humour - line drawn under this with the very actual death of Father Ted. I wonder if it would have finished had he lived.

To get back on subject slightly - Ashes to Ashes was OK but nothing more

It's back!

Lots of classic 80s bands featured again - Fun Boy 3, Adam and the Ants, Haircut 100, ABC, Specials etc last night.

Still full of schoolboy wise cracks from Gene and seedy London scenes - as for the time travelling bit it's somewhat beyond me!

I am hanging in there, but it is still not there. Did like the speech from Mac about drawing a line in the sand, the old ways stay the old ways etc and then a voice in the back ground says "do you want a scotch guv"

I loved it. Most of the Press comments I've read absolutely hated it.

I loved the line about police violence - he wanted lots of it.
This series is developing as much mystery as Life on Mars did. I had been disappointed with series one, but the roses stuff is really getting us on the edge of our seats!
