BBC have announced this series will be the last for the world's longest running comedy series - good riddance says I :ba

My mum used to say the same, that she didn't like it and didn't think it was funny. Why then, when I looked over was she smiling all the way through it?
I have to admit I haven't seen it for quite some years now, but always found it amusing, the sort of programme that made you smile rather than fall off your chair laughing. I always thought that Brian Wilde was a much under rated comedy actor.

I feel it was never the same after Compo Simmonite died. The best trio were Compo, Clegg and Foggy whilst Auntie Wainwright was terrifying in her ability to sell absolute rubbish at high prices to anyone, especially those who are just asking for directions :D
Was still reading the Daily Mail online to make sure I've not yet become a grumpy old man.
Then one day, I found I was screaming at the screen.
Now banned from a coffee shop :-)

I guess I won't be able to avoid it now when I'm watching my favourite channels Dave and GOLD - but have to say couldn't stand it - complete rubbish.
