Dr Whaaaat?

Postby Der Kaiser » Sun May 29, 2011 7:40 pm

Is it me or does the new series of Dr Who seem to be disappearing up its own black hole?

The plots are trying to be multi-layered, linear linked and just too damn clever. I'm a simple sci-fi bloke and I'm starting to miss Blake's 7

Despite the multi layered, linear linked and cleverness of the show it is still the best thing on TV.
I will admit to having to watch it twice to fully follow the plot and fill in the head scratching moments, but it's a small price to pay.
Officianados will recall a moment from the last series in the first part of the weeping angels 2 parter where the Dr told Amy to trust him while she had her eyes shut, this was in fact a Dr from a future episode, so it's not new thing.

I would be happy to explain the series so far, send blank cheques to PO Box 42 :tup2

Confused? You will be...

Personally, I am really enjoying this new series - I found the, 'it's all over in one episode', format a bit too contrived.

As for Bittburger - once tried forever missed, sadly.

Bitburger is a classic - I fondly remember spending an afternoon at the Bitburg brewery - the sampling of the produce in the big hall was a blast

O.K. I'll give you that one, the latest episode was a tad confusing towards the end. However, give me a couple more days to iPlayer it a few times and all will be explained. :?:
