Walked to Kings wood yesterday to see the bluebells, they were not as magnificent as in some years, almost of the other undergrowth had beat the to it.

also notice that can see along long way, and that the warehouses (Argos etc) stand out, wonder if the new ones they do they will be less white?

I read Carolyn's message soon after returning this morning from a walk through King's Wood. It was absolutely glorious throughout the length of the central path, with bluebells out in their thousands. Made even better by the repeated calls of a nearby cuckoo.

follow the track along from houghton house.

Or there are a few car parking spaces on the track for Houghton House, just follow the track that runs behind the farm.

Or You can walk from gas house lane.

Kingswood was my favourite walk --so pleased to see it looking as tranquil as ever.
