April 1st - walk to Millbrook Church

Postby Sagitar » Sun Apr 01, 2012 7:05 pm

A lovely morning, but a bit chilly. I walked through the Park and on to Millbrook Church, taking some pictures on the way.

It was a bit misty, but the light was bright and the animals seemed to be enjoying the sunshine.

I have forgotten the name of the farm on the right just before reaching Millbrook Church, but I noticed that a thorn hedge has been planted along the boundary with the path, so this view may disappear in time, as the hedge grows.

There are lots of narcissi, primroses and celandines in flower in and around the churchyard.

I was only away from home for about an hour and a half, but it was really very enjoyable and it was good to see how many people were out and enjoying the weather and the views.
