I noticed that all the signs were down yesterday (Sunday) when I passed by.

Must have been knocked over as it was still all closed off.
Another 2 weeks to go and driving me nuts already.
I so feel very sorry for the people who are living right beside it though. Hope they finish it early

- I too will be glad when it is all over seems a long way around on the bypass to Mk everyday - it must be so noisy right next to the drilling. although once all the builders had gone home on Saturday seemed a lot quieter in the garden without any traffic!

its also affecting the shops trade as well. ive been in a few shops down church street and they saying sales are down. seems stupid they were allowed to close the whole road as for the first few days all they were doing was using the road as a car park for there vans. we are told they have to give access to emergency vehicles so why not normal cars?

I would have thought that they could have done traffic lights, like you say the first few days they hadn't even done anything.
