Bedford by-pass

Postby CraftsbyCarolyn » Mon May 02, 2016 8:25 pm

Went on the bit of road that links the A428 (well it is actually the A4280) to the A6, did make it a lot easier than going into Bedford and out again. I assume it is expected to be little used as there is no dual carriageway, like the rest of the by pass, seems a little short sighted with so many new homes planned around it.

The western bypass (Branston Way) is not a dual carriageway either.

The only bit that is dualled is the A421 to the south of the town.
