Had a quick look in the antique shop Thursday.

Talk about expensive.

Well it isn't a Charity shop!!
It really is surprising what real Antique items can command.
However not everything old is Antique. And if you are talking about the local Emporium, then I would say that they have a lot of "maybe's" and
you have to know what you are looking at to know whether it is expensive - or not!!
Making money out of supposed Antiques is a very precarious game.
It's not like selling Cards.

Loose Doctor Who figures are NOT worth £6.

For that price I would expect them to be mint condition and boxed.

Caveat emptor! If people don't know what the value of what they're buying they can expect to be ripped off. It's strange that this still happens though, given that prices can quickly be checked online.

The price does vary as they are different sellers, not really sure if they are expensive or not as not really seen much in there that I need or want.

No idea if you can haggle with them. It is just a bit too stocked up for my liking, need to be sure that you do not go in there with any shopping you will never get around. As I found out when I went in there last week...but I did make a purchase in the charity shop instead!

I bought a collapsible wine rack for 50p which I have now converted into something to use as a display on my craft stall at Poplars nursery next week. And a glass jug for also displaying and also 50p......
