Antiques Roadshow

Postby CraftsbyCarolyn » Tue Jul 24, 2018 8:22 pm

I pooped along to the Antiques Roadshow at Wrest Park last Thursday. It was free entry...

It was very hot, and would say that there was a general lack of shade provided, but was a lovely atmosphere.

You had to queue to be registered, apparently it was around a 3 hour queue, and then you went on to queue for the experts for 1 to 2 hours....

We didn't bother to do any of that, had a nosy around and sat and had a coffee!

I knew it was going to be at Wrest Park on the 19th but could not face queuing in this heat for long periods just to be seen. I take my hat off to those
who did and I look forward to see what they had to offer the experts.

apparently the trick was to get there first thing!

I assume the larger pieces are pre-arranged, and maybe not such a queue!
